Thanks for sharing Gerald, that is so on time and true. That's the very reason we have to rebuke our mind set and tell Satan to go back to hell and find him something safe to do. Because, messing with you isn't it.
You guys, help me with this. This pass weekend I came across the HBO documentary on Ted Haggard. We all know what has happened to him. Yes, all that he done was way out of order and shameful, but my heart was so heavy after watching that and I went to into prayer for him, but mostly his family or more then less his teen age kids. How can we the body of Christ/Kingdom ppl so easily preach, talk, and confess of love, forgiveness,hope, restoration, REpentance, and again faith but when things like this take place it's different. And I'm pretty sure(100%) God had given him time after time to get it together (Hab 3) "Behold, I am against you," declares the LORD of hosts; "And I will lift up your skirts over your face, And show to the nations your nakedness And to the kingdoms your disgrace.Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.
My question is, since he's shun away from the church, his home and living in hotels w/ no job, humility brought upon his family etc.. As the body of Christ, what are we to do when things like this happen? To the pastors local and/or publicized. Even though, they are in error and God will go after the one sheep that go astray.

"Believing Faith"
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto

shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which
he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
If there is something you are believing God for, don't be tricked by
the enemy to think that you are not believing when you have doubtful
thoughts in your head about it. You can have doubt in your mind and yet
believe with your heart and your mouth! Your mind may tell you all
kinds of things, but that does not mean you are doubting. As long as
you believe in your heart and confess it or speak it with your mouth,
you are exercising faith! Faith is not a scary test, like some of us
were taught growing up, but faith is merely believing in your heart in
the unseen. The substance of things hoped for says that it is tangible
even when it's only in the hopeful stage! The evidence of things not
seen means that there is proof that it's coming! Impossible things are
God's specialty. Either you are gonna rely on what can be attained by
you or you are going to trust the most powerful God in the universe and
believe that he can do all things.
The devil can use all kinds of weapons in your head and cause you to
think crazy thoughts during a test or trial, but your thoughts do not
have to manifest into actions. You can arrest your thoughts or bring
them under captivity and say to yourself the opposite of what you were
thinking. Don't think you have lost faith just because a doubtful
thought came into your mind. Just speak what you believe and you are
exercising faith regardless of what the enemy tells your mind! I have
had bad dreams about things, bad advice given to me about things, and
crazy ideas in my head, but I would have to get the bible and sort out
what is biblical and what is imagination. And whatever was biblical, I
would stand on it, but my imagination cannot be trusted! I trust God
and I believe that by faith, I have things that are not seen yet or
evident yet! That's faith and that's what we should stand on. Keep
believing people of God and know that what God said is gonna come to
pass. Know that your mind can play tricks on you and your gut can send
you superstitious signals, but if you keep speaking it and believing
it, by faith, it will come to pass.

Hearing by the Word of GOD....Rhema: that which we hear from GOD mouth as we are in the presence of the LORD, intimate relating/communicating with Him as well as what we hear Him say to us (personally/specifically) as we read the written Word of GOD. What He says you can 'take to the bank' -- it will be confirmed and not 'bounce' (Isaiah 55:11).

More on "the subject" ...getting back to the basics of faith, we cannot
forget that "Faith Comes" by "Hearing the Word of God", this
is how we get Faith. Then we must know how it works...."Faith Works by
Love" Love is the engine that propells my Faith, while "Hope" or
"Expectancy" is the fuel in the engine! As I believe GOD, "The Object
and SOURCE of my Faith" as (He is the Word and the Word is HE) through which
the manisfestation of what or whom I am beliving for is receved!
"REAL FAITH IS NOT HOPING FOR WHAT YOU WANT,
BUT ACCEPTING WHAT GOD GIVES YOU." The
focus of "Hope" is not in the thing you are believing for but rather in WHOM

have died in faith never having received the promise (Hebrews 11 read the
whole chapter) but they were accredited as if the manifestation took place
during their lifetime. Why? The believed God (God was the object of their
faith not stuff)... They saw it before they saw it... NOW That's faith...!
... Knowing what God had promised he's able to perform...
Understand this... Time consists of past - present - future... If I believe God now (presence) - It's already a done deal whether I see the manifestation today (presence) or tomorrow (future)... Guess what if I don't see the physical manifestation in my lifetime its still a done deal why because future is an element of time...God imputes righteousness to my account because I BELIEVED!!! Ya'll know I'm in these classes and my time is very very very very precious to me now. But I had to finally get it on this dialogue. All of the comments were great and what else is there to be said. But here is my two cents as well (LOL).
Jer 29:11 God says I know the thoughts and plans I have for you...Ephes 3:20 tells us that He is able to do all that we could ever ask, think, or imagine. So for the author of this quote to say,
"REAL FAITH IS NOT HOPING FOR WHAT YOU WANT, BUT
ACCEPTING WHAT GOD GIVES YOU." I think
is a statement of faith within itself because one must know the word, in
particular the two scriptures noted above (among others) to realize that
what we want could never be compared to the greateness/extravagence of what
God has prepared for those that walk upright and believe what He has said is
good and perfect. For truly there is no good thing He will hold back. And if
we are truly His, the things that we hope for will only be the desires that
the Father has placed in our hearts from the beginning of time.

so...it's the OBJECT of our faith (GOD/JESUS) that brings power to our prayers and life, not how much faith we have?
The disciples/apostles said "...through faith in His name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." (Acts 3:16). They were able to do the 'works' of GOD through CHRIST because they had intimacy with CHRIST, leading to and understanding of what they could do through, which manifested in faith -- acting on what they believed through the understanding. All of this resulted in what the people saw...the glory of GOD in the lame man's life.

.I think one of the critical aspect of being in faith, or keeping the faith
or walking in faith is to maintain the focus and object of our faith... many
people experience a wavering faith because they focus on the by product of
faith (things) and not the object of our faith (God).
If my faith is in God ... then if I'm believing God for a particular area
and it does not manifest... then I do not lose hope because I know that God
is either positioning me for the manifestation or he has another course of
action... But if my faith is in things and the things don't manifest then we
give room for doubt and frustration ... why because our faith was attached
to the byproduct and not the source of the by product (God)...
Always have faith in the blessor and not the blessings... the blessings are
impacted by internal and external elements but God (the blessor never
change)...

This is fantastic dialog...reminiscent of the "old folk" Bible Study
days....I understand Faith as taking God at His word, there is a level of
understanding involved, yet it is relative to the intensity or closeness of
my relationship to and with HIM! You see We have His holy Spirit, therefore
is it so "out of the box" to believe that we can understand him in HIS
fullness? Afterall our SPIRITS are the ETERNAL part of us! We are in Faith
when we Trust Him at His Word as it applies to us.

and understands who God is....so therefore, this quote is not far from what
I would deem true. I dn't necessarily believe faith is the acceptance but
