STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

 The Bible – The Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God

Love - the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ's Agape love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.

God the Father  - is the Creator of heaven and earth. By his word and for his glory, he freely and supernaturally created the world from nothing.

The Trinity – God eternally exists as the perfect love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ – Jesus is fully God and fully man. He came to earth, was conceived in the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. He died and rose again to reconcile all people to God and to free them from the power of sin and the devil.

The Fall of Humanity –  Man is separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ

The Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. In addition to effecting regeneration and sanctification, the Holy Spirit also empowers believers for Christian witness and service

Ministry Gifts to the Church - We believe in the ministry gifts given to the church by Jesus Christ. We believe they are valid for today and are in operation

Baptism and Communion – Baptism and Holy Communion are two ordinances the Lord has given the Church.
